Delivery Information

The vast majority of orders received by WEL Medical are dispatched within 72 hours. Despite some stock fluctuations we endeavour to dispatch all orders within 14 days. In exceptional circumstances where stock is not available within that period a member of staff will contact you.

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Please note that it may not be possible to deliver to some locations. All deliveries are by third party carriers. If you are not able to take delivery of the products, depending on the carrier used, your goods will either be stored at the depot nearest to your address until you can collect them or the carrier will attempt to redeliver the goods to your address.

If you order items with different availability dates, we will hold all the items until the last item is delivered. You may however choose to have each item delivered separately and we reserve the right to charge you a delivery charge each time.

Contract for the Supply of Goods

The display of goods on the WEL Medical Ltd. site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell goods at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of goods will be deemed to exist between you and WEL Medical Ltd. unless, and until, an email is sent by WEL Medical Ltd. to you confirming that your order has been shipped. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by WEL Medical Ltd. of your offer to buy goods from WEL Medical Ltd. and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail.

WEL Medical Ltd. are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods, any description applied to the goods, the availability of the goods or the order itself.

Processing of orders

– Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers.

– Some items may be unavailable.

– We regret we are not able to supply dates our suppliers may get an item in stock.

– Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the cost of goods shipped to countries within the European Union. The current rate is 20%.

– Shipments to Non-EU countries are not charged VAT.

– Shipments outside the European Union (EU) may be subject to local import charges and taxes, which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Limitation of Liability

Except as specifically stated on this site, neither WEL Medical Ltd. nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

Illegal Acts

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic ‘fingerprints’ of every order placed on WEL Medical Ltd’s website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.

Governing Law

All purchases from WEL Medical Ltd. are subject to English Law.

Modification of Terms

WEL Medical Ltd. reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the WEL Medical Ltd. site.

Returns

Before returning any goods for any reason, a valid returns authorisation number must be obtained from WEL Medical Ltd. This enables us to keep track of your return and ensure that it is both and valid and can be processed correctly. A returns authorisation can be obtained either by telephoning 01252 344007 or by email to sales@welmedical.com

You may return any product for a full refund within 7 (seven) working days of delivery providing that it is in perfect resalable condition. Your refund will include the full value of the order including the cost of carriage from us to you. You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us and for ensuring that the goods are adequately insured during the return journey. We will be happy to arrange for a carrier to visit your home/premises and collect any returns but will pass the cost of this onto you. In the case of larger items this can be costly (e.g. £20.00-£25.00). In some cases where we need you to return the goods directly to one of our suppliers we may be charged a handling fee which we will pass on to you. Typical charges are 15% to 20%.

By resalable condition we mean the product has to be unused and in its original packaging. We will not accept returns for example if a product’s box has been torn or damaged. Generally we will not accept returns of body worn items for hygiene reasons (unless faulty) however some body worn items are supplied with tamper proof seals or in heat sealed bags. We will accept returns of these items however we will not accept returns of these products if the bag has been opened or if the seal is broken.

Should any item be delivered in an unsatisfactory condition or should there be any shortages, please notify us within 2 (two) working days and we will rectify the situation.

Any product which is not fit for the purpose intended due to a manufacturers defect will be replaced or you will be offered a refund. We will cover the cost of the goods being returned from you to us in this instance. This is only applicable within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (EIRE).
